Aligned with International Children’s Day and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Tuanku Bainun Young Changemakers (YCM) Award is a collaboration between WOMEN:girls and Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun. This initiative honours young individuals who are driving meaningful change in their communities.

In 2024, the award recognised outstanding youth contributors across five pillars: Technology, Environment, Health and Well-being, Arts and Culture, and Social Inclusivity. Notable alumni include Afia Qistina, who sewed PPE for frontliners during the pandemic, and Celeste Chung, founder of Youth for Future, an NGO supporting children’s education.
