The Heart Behind the Movement
WOMEN:girls, officially registered in 2013 as Pertubuhan Pembangunan Kendiri Wanita dan Gadis (PPM-001-10-21072013), is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women and children to realise their potential as role models and agents of change.
Since its inception, the organisation has focused on fostering grassroots growth through impactful economic empowerment programmes such as Kerjayaku: Goal Accelerator, Beauty for A Better Life, and Kejar Kerja: Kreatif. These initiatives provide communities with informed options to enhance their personal and professional lives, while connecting them to the resources and knowledge needed to unlock their potential.
Additionally, our past initiatives include Goal Malaysia and the Tuanku Bainun Young Changemakers Awards, which have further advanced our mission of empowerment and community transformation.
